shmellington (Ellington Peet) is a drummer & recording engineer/producer based in Brooklyn, NY. Originally from Los Angeles, CA, he grew up learning drums at the World Stage in Leimert Park before graduating from UCLA with a degree in Ethnomusicology – Jazz Performance.
He currently records & tours with groups Babehoven & Runnner, makes show flyers, and reads about pedestrian centered infrastructure in his free time.
